Frequently asked questions
What is Skip to My Recipe?
A recipe keeper for iPhone and Android that saves just the recipe: ingredients, steps and notes. No life stories, ads or feeds.
Which websites can I import from?
Most recipe websites and food blogs. Share the page to the app or paste its link. We read the recipe data many sites publish and use AI to tidy up the rest. You always review a recipe before it's saved.
Can I import from Instagram, TikTok or Facebook?
Not directly yet. Copy the post's caption, choose "Paste text" in the app, and it will be turned into a recipe.
Can I import a recipe card or cookbook page?
Yes. Take a photo (or several, for multi-page recipes) or pick one from your photo library.
Is there a limit on imports?
Paid plans include up to 100 imports a month, far more than most people use. The limit keeps the service affordable for everyone.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Nothing is deleted. Your 5 oldest recipes stay open and the rest are locked until you subscribe again.
Do my recipes work without internet?
Yes. Recipes you've opened are saved on your phone so you can cook with no signal. Adding and editing need a connection for now.
Can I use it on more than one phone?
Yes. Sign in with the same account and your recipes sync, even between an iPhone and an Android phone.
Can I get my recipes out?
Yes. You can export all your recipes from the app at any time.
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?
Sign in, open the upgrade screen and tap "Restore Purchases". Use the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with.
